Summer Pics vol.1

August 30, 2010

I decided to fill in the gaps and post some pictures of my summer. I divided them into three: June, July and August. So here's June :)
Graduation
My dress is from Vila :)
Our ninth-grade-is-over trip to Saaremaa. It was perfection, a total stress-free place with the best of people :)
The beach was great, water was so-so warm.

wonderful life

August 27, 2010

This week has practically flown by and I have had no time to write :)
Wonday-Wednesday we were at Getter's. We went there by bikes..37 km from my house to hers. Since we had two nights, then we managed to watch four movies :
Little Ashes- It was kind if uninteresting, but I liked how they had portrayed Salvador Dali. When he went to art school, he wasn't very confident, but when he was a big artist in Paris, he was arrogant and selfish. And it was  a sweet gay-love-story. :)
The Runaways- It was really cool. All the rock'n'roll and all. Although I hated Kristen steward's hair in the movie. She didn't look good at all. But Dakota Fanning was great. It is such a shame, that the band didn't last that long.
Superbad- totally a typical high-school comedy, but it was nice for a change
Sweeney Todd- It was amazing, so thrilling through the movie and the ending was really surprising.

On Tuesday I went to the cinema with my sister to see Letters to Juliet. It was such a sweet movie . Although the trailer pretty much spoils the whole movie, it was still good. I thought that it would be a cliche, but it wasn't. Romantic comedies are always such feel-good movies, I walked away smiling ad feeling great :)

Today I went to the old-town with Getter. I was being a good friend and listened to all her complaints about her almost-siblings. Then we bought ourselves big sandwiches from Bristo and coke. There's a campaign, that every fifth bottle wins a new Coke. Getter is a total addict and has bought it the whole summer, but hasn't won anything. I haven't bought Coke for ages and today I won :) yay !

Lovely Waves

August 23, 2010

I was catching up on all the blogs I read and now I'm finished. And I found a pair of shorts that are oh-so-famous. Meet Lovely Wave shorts from Queen's Wardrobe. They were featured on three blogs today.
Keiko Lynn - this was my favourite outfit with those shorts
Friend in fashion- I like the simplicity of the outfit, this is how I would have worn the shorts
Hey Fancy Pants- also very simple. I love the sheer blouse.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

August 14, 2010

I'm back from Liisa's birthday, which was so fun :) At night we watched the stars and saw a lot of falling stars, it was so interesting and mysterious. This morning Getter and I came back from Liisa's countryside by walking 4km, hitchhiking 8 km and then to Tallinn by us. While hitchhiking we immediately got on a car and we felt so lucky. Plus today's bus-ticket was cheaper. Since I felt so lucky, I bought myself a lottery ticket it Tallinn. I've become pretty much an addict lately, it is so fun playing Bingo every Wednesday :)
Tomorrow I'm off to Põlva for another 5 days of summer relaxing and swimming. I discovered that August is going to be and already has been quite busy. But it is good, then summer seems longer, and school doesn't come so quickly.
Last time in Põlva. The three of us on our floating mattresses :)

Laba diena

August 12, 2010

Yes, I'm alive. Since the last post, I've been away at badminton camp and then we went to Lithuania. Camp was tough. Training three times a day and the muscle pain.. but it was so worth it.
The trip to Lithuania was GREAT! I can't put it to words really, so here is a small selection of the pictures :)
With my father in a restaurant in Vilnius. The four of us ordered a meal called Pitchfork and it was six pieces of meat on a pitchfork :) Although I regret not getting the zeppelins, which are a national dish of Lithuania.
The roofs of Vilnius.  It was amazing, but we didn't get to see the city a lot, because we didn't have much time.
In an open air museum, somewhere near Kaunas. They had made a small village of such houses and it was supercute :)
With my aunt.:)
Jachts in the wonderful and so very peaceful Nida.
